Whilst Qualifying Times (QTs) are the mechanism to enable event organisers to control the number of people accepted for an event, they are often used by coaches and seen by parents as an achievement of a standard. Good luck to all Beckenham SC Swimmers hoping to achieve County, Regional, National and British Qualifying Times. Congratulations to all of these swimmers for achieving their times.

Information on Qualifying Times All Qualifying Times from National down to County (e.g. Kent) are based on the previous years entries. If the QT is too easy then far too many swimmers can compete - if it is too hard then the reverse is true. Find below the qualifying times required for Kent County, London Region (which includes the Southern Counties of Middlesex, Essex, Surrey and Kent) and National times. Please read ASA Success is Long Term for full explanation of British Age Group Categories (BAGCAT), and how various Meets throughout the season are designed to complement a swimmer's training at different ages of development, and different levels of competion (National, Regional, County).
